  • Kahlil Gibran Memorial Garden Rededication Ceremony.

    On May 5th, 2011, The Kahlil Gibran Memorial Foundation hosted in conjunction with the National Parks Service, Embassy of Lebanon in Washington and the Arab American Institute of Peace a ceremony for the rededication of the Kahlil Gibran's Memorial Garden. The event took place at the Kahlil Gibran Memorial Garden located at 3051Massachusetts Avenue NW in Washington, DC. The ceremony featured a number of founding members of the Kahlil Gibran Memorial Foundation, along with Secretary of Transportation, Ray Lahood, Ambassador of Lebanon in Washington DC, Antoine Chedid, and a number of readings of Gibran's poetry. photo gallery
